The Position – Mount Gambier

Dates: 03 June-17 June

2 July- 29 Jul

Roster: 0800-0800 , 24 hour on call periods and rostered days off as required.

Rates: $220 per hour.$2,300 per day for any rostered overnight/24 hour on call period. These rates are inclusive of all call backs and penalties.

Extras: Accommodation and travel to be negotiated

The Location – Mount Gambier

Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service is part of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. We provide acute services ranging from in-hospital care by local general practitioners to specialist surgical, obstetric, paediatric and anaesthetic services delivered by medical consultants.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum O&G Registrar position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

On 1 July 2019, South Australia’s system for child-related employment screening was replaced with a working with children check (WWCC).   The new laws mean that, from 1 July 2019, everyone working or volunteering with children must have valid child-related clearance.  Current, valid child-related employment screening checks done by DHS / DCSI will be recognised as a WWCC until they expire.  Under the new scheme, applications for a WWCC can be made by an individual, as opposed to the previous system where organisations had to initiate screening applications
