The Position – Paediatric Consultant

The Bays Hospital has an award-winning maternity service which involves the delivery and post-delivery care of newborn babies. Their special care nursery is a state of the art facility featuring the latest equipment and technology. Their team of qualified midwives and paediatricians care for babies in our nursery. Many of their paediatricians are based at The Bays and they always have a paediatrician on-call to attend the nursery 24-hours a day.

There are often shifts available for a locum Paediatric Consultant each month at The Bays – details below

• Day shifts 0800-2000
• Night shifts 2000-0800
• 24 hour oncall call shifts
• $200 per hour or if oncall for 24 hours $2000 for 24 hour period
• Accommodation or a room within hospital organised when required
• Tour of the hospital prior to first shift available

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Paediatric Consultant position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
