The Position – Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

• An O&G consultant is required for the below periods:
  Commencing 08:00 Monday, 17 July 2023 and concluding at 08:00 Monday, 31 July 2023 (inclusive).
• Commencing 08:00 Monday, 10 July 2023 and concluding at 08:00 Monday, 7 August 2023 (inclusive).
• Please note that the above period is to cover a vacant 1FTE position and therefore will be rostered with a mixture of day shifts, 24 hour on call periods and rostered days off as required.
• ROSTER TO BE PROVIDED FOLLOWING ENGAGEMENT OF CANDIDATE
• RATE: $3,500 per day flat rate for all rostered shifts inclusive of any 24 hour on call period. These rates are inclusive of all call backs and penalties

The Location – Mount Gambier, South Australia

Mount Gambier is a city in the southeastern corner of South Australia. It’s known for its limestone, volcanic landscape and crater lakes. One of these, Blue Lake, turns cobalt blue in summer. Nearby, the Centenary Tower offers panoramic views of the area.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Obstetric and Gynaecology position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.

O&G Specialists must also be able to provide evidence of attainment of Level 3 Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP) (letter and certificate); K2MS™ Perinatal Training Program certificates (alternate year to FSEPs); PROMPT (Practical Obstetric Multi-Professional Training) Certificate; Neonatal Resuscitation Course.
