The Position – Locum Medical Registrar – In-Charge

Dates: 22nd – 28th April

Roster: 0730 – 1700

Rates: $180 per hour

Extras: Accommodation and travel provided

The Doctor will be working as a Sole Practitioner in the Ward Admitting In-Charge. The locum will be supported in the hospital by very experienced Senior Nurses and ED staff.

The Location – Cooma, NSW

Cooma is the largest town in the Snowy Mountain region and consequently is seen as the gateway to the Snowy Mountains ski fields, the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electricity Scheme and the Kosciuszko National Park. It is the base for exploring the entire area and a prosperous tourist town. Central to the town’s attractions are the Snowy Hydro Information Centre; the Centennial Park which celebrates the town’s historic multiculturalism; the excellent historic walk and the fascinating Correctional Services Gaol Museum; and the area’s excellent horse riding and fishing facilities. 

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Medical Registrar position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

• eMeds, eMr and Fluid Infusion Certificates
• NSW working with children required
