The Position – Locum Intensive Care Registrar

Dates: Monday 22nd July – Thursday 8th August

Roster: Roster is shift work. 3-4 days/3-4 nights (12 hr shifts). 7 shifts in the fortnight. No oncall

Role: Assessment and management of ICU inpatients. Procedures including arterial and central access, ventilator trouble shooting. Assessment of referrals to ICU. Transport of patients for imaging / interventions. MET team membership. Supervision of RMOs. Liaison with on-call intensivist.

Toowoomba is a city in the Darling Downs region of southern Queensland, Australia.

The hospital is a 320-bed hospital that provides a wide array of services: primarily ambulatory care including specialist medical and surgical outpatient services, and acute inpatient care

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum ICU Registrar position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

• Current signed and dated CV
• Two references – no more the 12 months old
