The Position – Locum GP VMO Emergency Department

• ASAP – 31/08/2023 – SMO with FACRRM/ FRACGP ED
• ASAP – 31/08/2023 – preferably with advanced Obstetrics
• ASAP – 31/08/2023 – preferably with advanced Anaesthetics

Rate – $2100.00 per shift

The Location – Innisfail, QLD

Innisfail is a regional town and locality in the Cassowary Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. The town was originally called Geraldton until 1910. In the 2016 census, the town of Innisfail had a population of 7,236 people, while the locality of Innisfail had a population of 1,145 people. The hospital is a 49 bed level 3 general hospital , servicing some 35,000 residents and visitors to the Innisfail district, including a significant Indigenous population. 

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum GP VMO position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

• Rural eMeds required prior to starting placement
• A current Resume
• 2 x current professional peer references of the same speciality as the applicant (one from supervisor and both signed by referee)
• Queensland Working with Children
• Copies of qualifications
