The Position – North Canberra

Dates: Now – 02/02/25

Roster: Primarily Mon- Fri 8am-1630. with option to pick up weekends or after hours

Rates: $160 per hour

Extras: Accommodation and travel negotiated

Need to be PGY4+

The Location – North Canberra

North Canberra Hospital is in Bruce, in Canberra’s Belconnen Region. The hospital is on Mary Potter Circuit.

We deliver a range of health services for people across the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and surrounding Southern New South Wales region.

Some of these services include, but are not limited to:

• Canberra Hospital, which provides trauma services and most major medical and surgical services.
• North Canberra Hospital, which offers acute and sub-acute services.
• University of Canberra Hospital, a rehabilitation facility that offers additional outpatient services.
• Clare Holland House, which provides public palliative care services.
• Walk-in centres, which provide free treatment for minor illness and injury.
• Community health centres, providing general and specialist health services to people of all ages.
• Community based health services, such as early childhood services, youth and women’s health, dental health, mental health and alcohol and drug services.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum General Medicine position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

• Candidate must have Basic Physician Trainee (BPT) experience
• Candidate must be available for minimum 6 months or full dates
• ALS and PAL required
