The Position – Locum Consultant Peadiatrician

• Lismore Base Hospital is looking for a Consultant Paediatrician to cover the following roster gaps:
  • 0800hours Monday 3^rd July 2023 until 30^th October 2023
• In this period there will be minimum 3 or 4 days (Monday to Thursday).
• We would consider full time for the right candidate.
• The locum will be required to cover Community Clinics and AMS predominately.
• There may be some on-call to cover the acute paediatric service at Lismore Base Hospital.
• $2500 per day (24 hour period)
• Travel and Accommodation and hire car provided

The Location – Lismore, NSW

Lismore is a city in northeastern New South Wales, Australia.
The Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties.  The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of their Retrieval Service.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant Paediatrician position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork which includes current NSW working with children clearance, national criminal record clearance and has completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement.
