The Position – Locum Consultant Paediatrician

• A Consultant Paediatrician is required for the below period:
  Commencing on 08:00 Monday, 3 July 2023 to 16:00 Friday, 14 July 2023 (inclusive).
• The incumbent will be required to work in liaison with the onsite Specialist Paediatricians to provide outpatient clinics and will be required to be on call. Paediatricians are supported by a Trainee Medical Officer (PGY2) and/or Paediatrics Advanced Trainee. The after-hours Paediatrician on call will be supported by the Emergency Department medical staff. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of the Trainee Medical Officer.
• Rate: $2,500per day for rostered day shifts (08:00-16:00) and $2,700 per day for rostered 24 hour on call period. These rates are inclusive of all call backs and penalties.

The Location – Mount Gambier, South Australia

Mount Gambier is a city in the southeastern corner of South Australia. It’s known for its limestone, volcanic landscape and crater lakes. One of these, Blue Lake, turns cobalt blue in summer. Nearby, the Centenary Tower offers panoramic views of the area.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant Paediatric position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
