A hospital located in tropical Far North Queensland is looking for a Consultant in Haematologist

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this position, you must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.

What we offer

• $2100 per shift
• Travel and Accommodation provided
• Weekly payment via agency payroll
• Living away from home allowances if applicable

• Call is approx. 1 in 4 with the expectation to cover calls during work hours and after hours including the weekends and the inpatient service over this time
• There is usually a short ward round on the weekend days to see any patients of particular concern or any admissions overnight
• The unit has one clinical AT, one BPT and one resident
• They will be working with 3 other haematologists with three clinics per week
• There are 3 clinics per week
• There is also a 1 in 3 roster for covering the laboratory work if the locum is dual trained and going to be here for more than a few weeks
