The Position – Locum FACEM Consultant

• Lismore Health District is looking for a Specialist FACEM to cover the following roster gaps in their ED at Casino Hospital:
• Evening shifts – Wednesday 10 August until Sunday 3 September, 2023
• Shift time is: 1500 – 2300
• Supervision and training of Junior Medical staff is also a requirement. 
• Standard daily rate is $2500 per day (24hour period) all-inclusive

The Location – Lismore, NSW

Lismore is a city in northeastern New South Wales, Australia.
The Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties.  The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of their Retrieval Service. The Specialists are based at Lismore Base Hospital, and are rostered to also cover the Emergency Departments at Ballina and Casino Hospitals as part of the rotating roster.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum FACEM Consultant position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork which includes current NSW working with children clearance, national criminal record clearance and has completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement.
