The Position – GP (FRACGP or similar) – Emergency Department & Inpatient Ward

• DATES : 14th April – 19th April 2023
• TIME : 0800 – 1800 only – no oncall required
• RATE : $1800 – $2200 per day plus GST depending experience
• Travel expenses paid upon receipt of tax invoices
• Accommodation provided
• Based in the hospital between the hours of 0800-1800 only to manage the Emergency Department for presentations and to complete ward rounds for Inpatients.
• Only medial practitioner working in the hospital with nurse practitioner availability and nursing staff support

The Location – Mount Barker, WA

Mount Barker is a town on Albany Highway and the administrative centre of the Shire of Plantagenet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. At the 2021 census, Mount Barker had a population of 2,855. 

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum General Practitioner position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

• Rural eMeds required prior to starting placement
• Current CV with email address and 2 referees
• Western Australian Working with Children
• Criminal Record Screening / National Police Clearance
• Evidence of full COVID-19 Vaccinations
