The Position – Emergency Medicine Doctor – Non Proceduralist

• Seeking PGY6 or higher Emergency Medicine Doctors
• Looking for coverage from April 10th onwards
• Doctors must be willing to be rostered for a mixture of shifts (0700, 1300 and 2130 start times)
• Shift times are all 10 hours in duration
• Daily rate is $3200 per rostered day if all credentialing requirements are met
• Must have either REST, REACT, CEMP or ALS2 certification
• Doctors must be able to work independently without supervision
• Accommodation provided
• Travel reimbursed from capital city to Geraldton
• Hire car subsidy provided up to $50 per rostered day

The Location – Geraldton, WA

Geraldton is a coastal city in the Mid West region of Western Australia, 424 kilometres north of the state capital, Perth. Geraldton is known for its hot summers that bring strong sea breezes from November to February, making the city popular for windsurfing and kite surfing. The dry, warm days of early spring – September and October – and mid-autumn, around May, are ideal for bush walking.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Emergency Medicine position, applicants must have current Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the following to be considered for this position:

• Evidence of COVID vaccination including booster
• Evidence of Mask Fit Test
• Medical Indemnity
• Current working with children check
• Current Police check
• Mandatory Reporting of Child Sexual Abuse Training Certificate
