The Position – Consultant Locum Paediatrician

Consultant Locum Paediatrician required for multiple blocks at North West Regional in Burnie, Tasmania:

• Leave Cover One: Monday 09 October 2023 – Monday 30 October 2023
• Leave Cover Two: Tuesday 24 October 2023 – Monday 30 October 2023
• Leave Cover Three: Monday 30 October 2023 – Friday 10 November 2023
• $2500 per day including oncall and recall
• Roster will be a mixture of different shifts, including days, nights and weekends
• Travel and accommodation provided
• Locum Medical Officers are rostered across both North West Regional Hospital, Burnie and Mersey Community Hospital, Latrobe and therefore MUST have a drivers’ license

The Location – North West, Tasmania

Because of its relative remoteness, north west Tasmania has fewer people and less traffic than the more popular east coast, yet it is easily accessible by a comprehensive road network

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Consultant Locum Paediatrician position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
