The Position – Locum Consultant General Surgeon

Hervey Bay Hospital require a Locum Consultant General Surgeon for the below periods:

• 25th September until 29th September and 9th October until 13th October
• $2400 per rostered day
• Exact roster of shifts TBC upon confirmation of booking
• Travel and accommodation provided
• Candidates must have GESA and be registered on the Colonoscopy Recertification Program

The Location – Hervey Bay, Queensland

Nestled 3 hours north of Brisbane, and the perfect spot to explore Fraser Island, there’s things to do in Hervey Bay for every traveller.

Hervey Bay, a coastal city in southern Queensland, is widely known as a site for observing humpback whales. Whale-watching boats operate during the July to November migration season.

It’s also a hub for tours to nearby Fraser Island, which has beaches and features a rainforest habitat for dingoes and other wildlife. A waterfront esplanade links the city’s marina with beaches offering calm waters for swimming.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant General Surgeon position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
