The Position – Locum Consultant General Surgeon

Bairnsdale Regional Hospital require a Locum Consultant General Surgeon for the following period:

• Thursday 7th September 0730 until Monday 11th September 0900 (Handover and final ward round)
• AM/PM theatre lists plus oncall
• GESA accreditation preferred but not essential
• Accommodation provided up to $149 per night or organised by hospital
• Travel reimbursed 0.85c/km or flights can be negotiated
• Meal allowance of $75 per day

The Location – Bairnsdale

A thriving provincial centre, and once home to steam boats and traders who arrived in the area in the 1850s, Bairnsdale is now the commercial and administrative hub of the East Gippsland Shire offering history, the arts, culture and retail.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant General Surgeon position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
