The Position – Locum Consultant General Medicine Physician

Kempsey District Hospital require a Locum Consultant General Medicine Physician for the below periods:

• 0800 Monday 25th September until 0800 Tuesday 3rd October
• Exact roster of shift times and oncall to be confirmed
• Preference for one doctor to cover entire block of shifts
• Rate of pay is $2500 per day including call backs and Public Holidays
• Travel and accommodation organised directly by Kempsey Hospital

The Location – Kempsey, New South Wales

Kempsey is a town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia and is the council seat for Kempsey Shire.

It is located roughly 16.5 kilometres inland from the coast of the Pacific Ocean, on the Macleay Valley Way near where the Pacific Highway and the North Coast railway line cross the Macleay River.

Home to two great Australian icons – country music legend Slim Dusty, and the Akubra hat, which has been made in the town for the past 50 years – Kempsey is surrounded by national parks and just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of the Macleay Valley Coast.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant General Medicine Physician position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
