The Position – Locum Consultant Emergency Medicine

Palm Island require a Locum Consultant Emergency Medicine for the following periods:

• Block One: 15th August until 3rd September
• Block Two: 22nd August until 31st August
• Block Three: 26th September until 30th September
• FRACGP or FRACCRM suitable role
• $2600 per rostered shift
• Travel and Accommodation provided
• Similar experience as a rural generalist in remote aboriginal communities is highly sort after

The Location – Palm Island, Queensland

Palm Island is the largest discreet Indigenous community in Australia with approximately 4000 people residing on Palm Island. There is high mobility between Palm Island and the mainland, and the population can increase to over 5000 people during festivals and events.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant Emergency Medicine position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
