The Position – Consultant Anaesthetist

Port Augusta Hospital is seeking an Anaesthetist for the below dates:

• 0800 Friday 8^th September – 1700 Monday 18^th September 2023
• 0800 Sunday 15^th October – 1700 Monday 23^rd October 2023
• 0800 Monday 23^rd October – 0800 Tuesday 31^st October 2023
• 0800 Monday 1^st December – 1700 Monday 11^th December 2023
• 0800 Monday 25^th December – 0800 27^th December 2023

• Shift times are 08:00am – 08:00am
• Oncall and Theatre lists
• Port Augusta Hospital will organise Flights and Accommodation and give access to a car. (Hire car/Fleet car)
• Pay Rates: $3000 per 24 hours, $2500 list only (1700)

The Location – Port Augusta

Port Augusta is called ‘the crossroads of Australia’ because roads from Sydney to Perth and Adelaide to Darwin all pass through…as do The Ghan and the Indian Pacific. This regional hub, where the outback meets the ocean, is a major tourism, shopping, government, and commercial centre

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
