Find a Fellow Terms and Conditions

• The “Find a Fellow: Refer a Specialist or GP ” campaign is effective from 01/10/2023 to 01/02/2024.

• Referrers can refer an unlimited number of individuals throughout the campaign.
• Referrers could fall into one of the following:
  • Active or inactive members of Medic Oncall.
  • Active employees of Healthcare Australia.
• Referrers are entitled to:
  • Receive a $500 reward for referring a new candidate who has not previously been associated with or worked for Medic Oncall by HCA.
  • Receive a $250 reward for recommending a ‘refresh’ candidate who has previously been associated with or worked for Medic Oncall by HCA but has chosen to re-new their membership.
  • Referred candidate must be registered with the referrer’s name by 01/02/2023 for the referrer to be eligible for the referral reward.
• Eligibility criteria for referred candidates include:
  • New candidates, with no previous engagement or employment with Medic Oncall by HCA.
  • ‘Refresh’ candidates, who previously engaged or worked with Medic Oncall by HCA and re-engage during the campaign.
  • Referred candidates must be certified Specialist Doctors or General Practitioners, holding full working rights and eligibility to practice within Australia.
• Referred candidates are entitled to:
  • Receive a $500 reward if you are a new candidate who has not previously been associated with or worked for Medic Oncall by HCA.
  • Receive a $250 reward if you are a ‘refresh’ candidate who has previously been associated with or worked for Medic Oncall by HCA but has chosen to re-engage with our platform.
• Referred candidates should mention the name of the referrer during their initial contact with Medic Oncall by HCA for record-keeping purposes. Any later acknowledgement of the referral may lead to the withdrawal of the referral reward.
• Referred candidates are required to complete a minimum of 10 shifts within 3 months from the referred candidates ‘ active date.
• All referral rewards are awarded solely at the discretion of Medic Oncall by HCA.
• Referral rewards are processed through the agency payroll, or receive the gift card if the referrer is not a member of MOC.
• The validity of a referral is limited to 3 months from the initial referral date.
• Medic Oncall by HCA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. If we make changes to these Terms and Conditions, we will notify the participants.
• Referral rewards must be claimed within 3 months of the referral date. Unclaimed rewards after this period will be considered forfeited.
• Any taxes related to the receipt or use of referral rewards are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
• The collection and use of personal information will be in accordance with Medic Oncall by HCA’s privacy policy, which is available on our website.
• Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the referral program, including fraudulent claims or providing false information, will result in immediate disqualification from the program and may result in removal from our platform, or even further legal action.
