The Position – Locum Consultant Cardiologist

• Lismore Base Hospital is looking for an experienced Specialist Cardiologist
  • Please note we need a Fellowed Specialist for this position to maintain accreditation for junior rotations.
• 0800hours Friday 4^th August 2023 until 0800hours Monday 7^th August 2023
• Shift times are Monday to Friday 0800 – 1700hours
• on call roster 0800 – 0800 (weekdays and weekends)
• The locum will be rostered on call for the full period.
• Daily rate is $2500/day (24hour period) all-inclusive.  
• Travel and Accommodation and hire car provided

The Location – Lismore, NSW

Lismore is a city in northeastern New South Wales, Australia.
The Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral Level 5 base hospital with state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties.  The Lismore Base Hospital Emergency Department is a comprehensive level 5 Emergency Department and is the designated Trauma Centre for Northern NSW with on-site roof top helipad as part of their Retrieval Service.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Consultant Physician position, applicants must have Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork which includes current NSW working with children clearance, national criminal record clearance and has completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement.
