The Position – Locum GP Obstetrics

Cowra has a 3 bed ED (1 x resus bay) with a high presentation rate of older people, aboriginal people and the usual acute and chronic medical conditions, MVAs, farm, industrial and sporting injuries, alcohol/drug related issues, chest pains etc.

• Shift hours 07.00 – 17.00
• Dates between Saturday 4th March to Sunday 5th March 2023
• Rate of pay $2800 per day
• On-call 24/7
• Must have completed eMeds training
• Travel and accommodation provided

This position is best suited for a GP Obstetrician

The Location – Cowra, NSW

Cowra is a small town in the Central West region of New South Wales, Australia. It is the largest population centre and the council seat for the Cowra Shire, with a population of 9,863. Cowra is located approximately 310 m above sea level, on the banks of the Lachlan River, in the Lachlan Valley

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum GP Obstetrics position, applicants must have General Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork. Applicants must also have the below to be considered for this position:

• Rural eMeds required prior to starting placement
• NSW working with children required
