The Position – Locum Emergency Medicine Doctor

Peninsula Health is the major healthcare provider on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, serving the metropolitan and rural areas with a wide range of services ranging from obstetrics to aged care, rehabilitation, emergency and intensive care, oncology, psychiatric services, and Hospital in the Home (HITH).

Peninsula Health is currently seeking experienced FACEM, Fellow or Senior ED doctors to join their team for a variety of locum shifts

• Shift hours vary depending on which site 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-24:00 at Frankston or 10:00-20:00 at Rosebud
• Competitive rates vary on the experience and level of doctor and whether you are available for single shifts on ongoing shifts
• We will work with your availability and preferences to ensure your needs are met
• Role suitable for FACEM, Fellow or Senior Emergency Department Doctor
• Orientation prior to the first shift is available if interested
• Cerner EMR platform used across all sites – training organised if not familiar with program

The Location – Mornington Peninsula, VIC

The Mornington Peninsula is a coastal escape that swells with visitors in summer and somewhat empties out in winter. Known for beaches, vineyards and golf courses it’s only an hour and 20-minute drive from Melbourne CBD

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this Locum Emergency Medicine doctor position, applicants must have General Registration or Specialist Registration with AHPRA and complete all required paperwork.
